Sharon R. Doll, 61, of Argenta, passed away May 20, 2024 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta. Memorials in Sharon’s honor may be made to D1Naz, 1177 W Hickory Point Rd, Decatur, IL 62526.
Sharon was born December 16, 1962 in Decatur, the daughter of John R. Doll, Sr. and Joan M. (Weddle) Doll. Sharon loved giving back to her community and was a volunteer for many years at Decatur Memorial Hospital winning several awards for the number of hours she volunteered. She was also an avid sports fan and loved bowling as well as cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, the Fighting Illini, St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago White Sox. Sharon was a member of D1Naz and loved serving and volunteering in the church. She volunteered with Helping Hands as well as other ministries in the church.
Surviving are her parents, John and Joan Doll; brothers, Russell L. Doll and wife Barbara and John R. Doll, Jr.; nieces: Belinda Doll and Hannah Doll; and nephew, Terry Doll, Jr.
Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Lee Doll, Sr. and grandfather, Lyle “Bud” Doll.
