Sharon Ahlrich

Sharon I. Ahlrich, 68, of Decatur, died Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana.According to Sharon’s wishes, there will be no services. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family. Sharon was born June 4, 1948, in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gale A. and Era M. (Campbell) Long. She worked as an optician at Walmart, and previously worked at Lenscrafters, TJ Maxx, Kohl’s, Ten & Less, and Glik’s. Sharon was affiliated with Maranatha Assembly of God and loved going to church. She enjoyed reading and loved her dog, Itsy. Sharon is survived by her children, Marjorie I. Crites and husband Brad of Springfield and Mark E. Ahlrich of Macon; grandchildren, Paden Woods and Isabella Woods, both of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bernard Long and Leonard Long.The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Prairie Rose Healthcare Center of Pana for their excellent care of Sharon.
