Sharlene Weaver

Sharlene Weaver, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Decatur, with visitation from 10:00 a.m until service time. Inurnment will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church or Cancer Care Center of Decatur. Sharlene was born November 21, 1931, in Springfield, IL, daughter of Parke M. and Gladys Ethel (Sebring) Smith. She married Lawrence E. Weaver February 3, 1952 in Decatur. Sharlene was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked for the Herald & Review, Seno Formal Wear, Millikin Data Center and ASCS – The Federal Department of Agriculture. Sharlene is survived by her husband Lawrence of Decatur; son, David L. Weaver and wife Anne of Emerald Hills, CA; daughter, Carol E. van Seumeren and husband Henri ; grandchildren, Theresa van Seumeren, Mattheus van Seumeren, Megan Weaver, and Krista Weaver; brother Donald E. Smith of Decatur, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents. "
