Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 11, 2008, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL, with Memorial services following at 4:00 P.M., Friday, January 11, at First Presbyterian Church, Decatur, IL. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Richland Community College, or the family would appreciate donations of blood or financial donations to the American Red Cross. Scott was born June 24, 1958, in Decatur, IL, the son of David C. and Joan P. (Purdue) Jack. He married Laurie Knoch in Decatur, IL. She preceded him in death on February 12, 2000. He is survived by his father and mother, David and Joan of Decatur, IL; daughter Barbara McLaughlin and husband David of Painted Post, New York; brother David Jack and wife Amy of Brookline, MA; special nieces Suzanna and Emily. Scott was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Deacon. He attended Illinois State University, Richland Community College and Blackburn College. Scott formerly worked at ADM in the Hydro Pontics division. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, wife Laurie and brother Robert.
