Scott Alongi

Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 23, 2011, at Temple Baptist Church in Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be assisting the family with arrangements.Scott was born November 13, 1958 in Urbana, IL, the son of Frank and Harriette (Carter) Alongi. He married Bobbi J. Carlson on July 27, 2002. Scott worked at T.C.C.I. as a machinist for approximately 9 years. He collected antiques and enjoyed building models. Scott was an avid sports fan and loved gardening and flowers. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife Bobbi; mother Harriette (Carter); stepdaughter Samantha J. Gordy and stepson Jeramy J. Gordy, all of Decatur, IL; and his brother Rick Wyninger, wife Holly and their son Max of Tuscola.He was preceded in death by his father.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
