Sara Prichard

Sara Ann Prichard, 78, of Mt. Zion, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, in her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Mrs. Prichard was born December 19, 1932, in Maud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edgar and Jennie Leona (King) Steele. She married Hal E. Prichard in Olney, IL on June 6, 1952. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Prichard worked as an accounting clerk in the accounting department at St. Mary's Hospital for 20 years. She was an avid reader, liked flowers and gardening, and she loved the outdoors and traveling. She is survived by her children: Mark S. Prichard and wife Patty of Somonauk, IL, Gaye E. Bunch and husband Dick of Decatur, and Scott E. Prichard and wife Kathy of Lockport, IL; grandchildren: Kristin S. Buttz and husband Darin of Mt. Zion, Kyle A. Borders and fiancee` Kristina of Decatur, Kelli R. Prichard of Chicago, and Brianne N. Prichard of Lockport, IL; great grandchildren: Ryne A. Buttz, Easton J. Buttz, Bo D. Buttz, all of Mt. Zion, and Anabelle R. Borders of Decatur; sister: Sue Harness of Grayville, IL. Mrs. Prichard was preceded in death by her parents and husband. "
