Sandra Jean Augustine, 72, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday (July 5, 2008) at 6:45 A.M. in her residence.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday (July 8, 2008) at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church , with visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, (July 7,2008) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donors choice.Sandra was born on December 23, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Glenn and Karleen (Grise) Ballinger. She married Ronald D. Augustine on July 23, 1953 in Decatur, IL.She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL. Sandra formerly worked at CHELP and was a D.M.H. Hospice volunteer. She was a Die-Hard Cubs baseball fan. Surviving are her husband Ron of Decatur, IL.; children: Glenn Edward Augustine and wife Connie of Lake Lillian, Minn., Stephanie Jean Augustine of Decatur, IL., Diana Lynn Clark and husband Carl of Decatur, IL., Jeffrey Dean Augustine and wife Debbie of Decatur, IL.; sisters: Sonja Summers of Janesville, Minn. and Connie Baker of Monticello, IL.; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.
