Ruth Mae Seggerman, 92, of Decatur, IL, died 11:10 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation from 2 to 4 p.m., prior to service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, at Lake View Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children. Ruth was born August 28, 1921, in Mitchell, SD, the daughter of Halley R. and Blanche (Gish) Oltman. She married Jimmy S. Seggerman on June 20, 1948 in Pekin, IL. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1991. Ruth worked for truck lines, Decatur Cartage Co. and Transamerican Freight Lines for several years, and then retired from Mueller Company after 20 years as secretary in the Traffic and Engineering Departments. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur, the Mueller Women Retirees, the IBEW Local Union #146 Retirees Club and a past member of Decatur ABWA. She is survived by her son Jimmy Seggerman and wife Teresa; daughters Sally Dennee and husband Stephen, Susan Lines and husband Charles, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Todd Wagner and Charissa Hemrich of Mahomet, IL, Jeffrey Seggerman and wife April of St. Louis, MO, Corey Lines and wife Elizabeth of Bloomington, IL, Carrie Simmons and husband Jon of Bethany, IL; step grandson Mike Crawford and wife Brenda; great granddaughters Peyton Ann Simmons, Chloe Luanne Wagner; great grandsons Gage William Simmons, Colin Charles Lines; step great grandsons Blake Simmons, Steve, Kyle and Brian Crawford; brothers Marion Oltman of Pekin, IL, Delton Oltman of Bloomington, IL; sisters Mrs. Virginia Davis of Bloomington, IL, Mrs. Norma June Wollenschlager and husband Jerry of Normal, IL; sisters-in-law Mrs. Evelyn Oltman of Bloomington, IL, Mrs. Dolores Albertsen of Pekin, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy, three sisters and one brother. "
