Roy Reidelberger

Roy R. Reidelberger, 78, of Forsyth, died Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Hickory Point Christian Village. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home with visitation starting one hour prior to service time. The family requests casual attire. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Hickory Point Christian Village. Roy was born January 5, 1934, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Richard and Barbara (Petrowsky) Reidelberger. He married Marlene Greenslate on September 27, 1958. Roy was the owner of Roy's Heating and Air Conditioning. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Marlene of Forsyth; sister-in-law Christine Reidelberger of Tamaroa, IL; brother-in-law Pete Liszewski of Radom, IL; several nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Marilea and Sheryl, brothers Robert, Ed and Paul, sister Rita Liszewski, and sister-in-law Karin Reidelberger. Roy was a loving man, who will be remembered by family and friends for his generosity and strong will. We can see him removing the snow on his wheel horse tractor in the neighborhood, and we shall never forget the time he disassembled the family furnace to repair a customer's furnace at 2:30 in the morning!
