Roy Montgomery

Roy Keith Montgomery 73, of Decatur passed away December 6, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. There will be no visitation or funeral. Roy was born on April 12, 1942 in Mt Pulaski IL, son of Laurence and Ellen Montgomery. He attended school there and moved to Decatur to work and marry Mary Ann in 1964. They have one son, Keith. Roy leaves behind wife Mary Ann, son Keith (Michele) of Forsyth, brother Larry Lee (Betty) of Chestnut and grandsons Chance of Oreana and Deacon of Forsyth. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister. Roy was an avid mystery reader. He loved his family, his dogs, old clocks and always could enjoy a good hamburger and fries. His family will miss his stories of his youth in Mt. Pulaski. "
