Rosemary Drew

Rosemary (Lucas) Drew, 84, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday, February 11, at Rock Springs Church of God. Visitation will be 3-5:00 pm on Sunday, February 10, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Peoples Church of God. Rosemary was born on January 6, 1929 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Walter and Nellie Viola (Bradley) Lucas. She married Leon Drew on July 15, 1950. She was a homemaker and member of the Peoples Church of God. She is survived by her husband Leon; children James Michael Drew and wife Kris of Mt. Zion, IL; Stephen Drew and wife Diane of Decatur, IL; Cathy Caudle and husband Mark of Tower Hill, IL; and Timothy Leon Drew of Maroa, IL; sister Violet Henon of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Joe and wife Julie, Jenny Drew, Taylor and Cody Drew, Jeff and Julia Eckart; Justin Mark Caudle, Beth Kenemer, Amy Jordan, Angela Bryan, and John Jordan; great-grandchildren Justin Eckart and Undra Ingram, Mason and Ryan Lippolt, Courtney Drew, Maria Zimmerman, Olivia, Jack, and Noah Bryan; great-great-grandchild Zya Cushing; sisters-in-law Fern Rewerts, Betty (Cecil) Davis and Jean Drew all of Decatur, IL. Rosemary is also survived by her very special friend Doris Bailey. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Walter and sister Velma Mae. "
