Rose Marie (Kurilec) Allen left this life peacefully on August 1, 2011 at home in Forsyth, IL. Rose was born December 5, 1931 in Cleveland, OH, to John and Julia (Oliny) Kurilec. She married her high school sweetheart James Earl Allen on May 21, 1951, and they were together until James' death in 2008. Rose will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 6, 2011 next to James in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, OH, following a private memorial service. Rose is survived by daughter June Marie Gladney of Los Alamos, NM, daughter Susan Lynn Barth of Forsyth, IL, son David John of Kingsport, TN, son-in-law Jay Barth, daughter-in-law Dawn Allen, and brother John Kurilec of Euclid, OH. Her grandchildren are Christy (Gladney) Neis, Kelli Gladney, Nicholas and Damien Allen, Isabel, Emma, and Maxwell Barth, and Benjamin Allen. She is proceeded in death by James, her husband of 57 years, her son Michael James, and grandson Eric Gladney. "
