Ronnie Swindle

Ronnie Dale Swindle, 67, of Decatur, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, in his home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton at a later date. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Ronnie was born July 1, 1952, in Decatur, the son of Willie and Mavis (Franklin) Swindle. He married Christine Anne Christopher June 5, 1980, in Decatur. Ronnie was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a truck driver for McCloud Trucking, loved horses, and was a proud veteran. He is survived by his wife Christine of Decatur; children, Lacosta Shugart and husband Chad of Argenta and Michael Swindle of Decatur; grandchildren, Victor Swindle, Chandler Shugart, Caeden Shugart, and Wailon Swindle; sister, Caroline Ratcliff and husband Steve of Florida. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents. "
