Ronda Ruthann Flannigan, 55, of Oakley, IL, passed away early Monday, September 7, 2015. Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Ronda was born on June 7, 1960 to Dell and Janet Hunt, the first of four children, in Los Angeles, Ca. Her family moved to St. Louis, MO prior to settling in Decatur. She married Robert Paul Flannigan, Jr. on September 21, 1979 and was the mother of Jake Flannigan (Rebecca). Ronda was a graduate of Eisenhower High School and started her career through the office occupations program at Purity Baking Co., where she worked until 1985. Ronda then joined ADM (later Stratas Foods), where she had 30 years of service upon her retirement. She is survived by her husband, son, father, sister Lynette Bradshaw (Kevin) of Shelbyville and brothers Tim Hunt of Decatur and Jason Hunt; nieces and nephews Tamra Pirtle (John) and children, Ryan Bequette and children, Abbie Hunt, Austin Hunt, James Bradshaw and Jessica Bradshaw; special in-laws Robert and Shirley Flannigan, along with countless loving family members and close friends. Ronda was preceded in death by her beloved mother Janet Hunt. She was a passionate car collector, enjoyed reading, crocheting, making beaded jewelry, watching a wide variety of sports, taking weekend trips to craft festivals and sharing many laughs with her Bunco buddies. Ronda was a kind, smart, tough, beautiful and caring woman who will be missed dearly. "
