CUSTOM DEATH NOTICE Ronald D. Moyer, 76, of Decatur, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Private family burial of cremains will be at Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Mr. Moyer was born December 25, 1933, in Decatur, the son of Jesse and Nina (Binstead) Moyer. He married Martha Jane Chepan August 29, 1952. She preceded him in death March 22, 2003. Mr. Moyer worked as a truck driver for General Transfer for many years, as well as All States Services, Wilson Freight, and Prairie Farms. He more recently worked as an independent truck driver and for Crop Service in Niantic. He is survived by his children: Christine Hackney and husband Michael of Decatur, Susan Lewis and husband David of Seattle, WA, Sally Zimmerman and husband Hugh of Springfield, Daniel D. Moyer and wife Cindy of Sullivan; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers.Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
