Ronald Cain

Ronald E. Cain, 75, of La Place, IL passed away at 10:05 A.M. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 28 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Long Creek, IL. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois.Ronald was born on May 18, 1941 in Hammond, IL, the son of John A. Cain and Mary (Kestner) Cain. He was a truck driver for Nussbaum Trucking and Spector Trucking. Ronald enjoyed stock car and go-cart racing. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.Ronald is survived by his children: Terry (Linda Kay) Cain of Arthur, IL, Ronda Wheeler of Decatur, IL, Jeanie Cain and (fiancée Bruce Pirie) of Tuscola, IL, Lisa Cain of Decatur, IL, Kevin Cain of La Place, IL, and Chris Icenogle of La Place, IL; siblings: John E. (Judy) Cain of La Place, IL, Richard (Gay Lynn) Cain of Tuscola, IL, Martha (Scott) Primmer of Cerro Gordo, IL; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special fur friends: Tuffy and Shaggy.He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother. The family would like to give a thank you to Dr. Velasco and D.M.H. Health Care and Hospice. They would like to extend a special thank you to Debbie Mullins of D.M.H. Healthcare. "
