Ronald E. Anderson, our beloved father, passed away on December 21, 2023.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, (off of Franklin St.), in Decatur, IL. After the services, please join us at The Wharf, 201 W. 1 ^st Drive, Decatur, for a Celebration of Dad’s life.

Ronald worked for Norfolk Western in Decatur, IL and later for Norfolk Southern in Chattanooga, TN. He loved to travel, shoot trap and he loved his family.

He is survived by his children: Jerry (Cindy) Anderson, Becky (Jon) Marshall; grandchildren: Dustin (Tessa) Chenoweth, Matthew (Melissa) Mahon, Courtney Anderson, Zach (Morgan) Anderson; great grandchildren: Alexis and Deegan Chenoweth, Joshua and Abigail Mahon, Greta Anderson; sister, Rovella (Charlie) Maxwell; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bennett & Beulah Anderson; brothers: Darrel Anderson, Andy (Diane) Anderson; nephew, little Andy Anderson; and great granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Mahon.
