Roland "Pop" A. Heath, 85, of Decatur, IL, passed away 6:58 a.m., Wednesday, May 06, 2015, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Roland was born June 23, 1929, in South Beloit, IL, the son of Donald Douglas and Violet (Shafer) Heath. He was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his brothers Don (Susie) Heath, Jr., Gayman Heath, and Terry Heath, all of Decatur, IL; nephew Clyde (Carol) Windsor of Brunell, FL; and niece Maxine (Larry) McQuaid of South Beloit, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Allen Heath, and sister Beatrice Matthew. Roland worked as a farm hand in Wisconsin prior to moving to Decatur. He helped with maintenance around yards and houses of his brothers and niece. Roland liked to visit his nieces and nephews in South Beloit, IL and Black River Falls, WI. He especially enjoyed attending church and visiting with his church families. "
