Roberta Odle

Roberta O. Odle, 71, of Decatur, IL, died 1:25 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church Ladies Guild (Decatur), Salvation Army, St. John's Hospice in Springfield, or the Ronald McDonald House. Roberta was born August 11, 1942, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Ralph Emery and Violet Clara (Buchter) Goken. She married Phillip Wayne Odle on May 26, 1961 in Argenta, IL. Roberta was a secretary for Maroa Forsyth High School for many years, and also did accountant work for FS. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Phillip; daughters Kellie L. Odle of Decatur, IL, Laurie A. Odle-White and husband Jim of Villa Park, IL; grandchildren Meghan Austin and husband Daniel of Mt. Zion, IL, Jessica Ingolia and husband Shane of Orlando, FL, Nicole Laughery of Decatur, IL, Colin and Brianna White, both of Villa Park, IL; great grandchildren Madilynne and Cole Austin, both of Mt. Zion, IL; sister Kay Wallace and husband Edwin of Argenta, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. "
