Robert D. "Bob" Oak, 81, of Rexford, Montana, died 11:25 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL, with military rites conducted by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Bob was born May 15, 1932 in Decatur, IL, the son of Otto and Elizabeth (Myers) Oak. He married Joyce Rutledge on November 7, 1970 in Bloomington, IL. Bob worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 31 years and was the owner of Oak Home Repair and Remodeling Service. He was a former member of Moundford United Methodist. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in Korea. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce; daughters Joni Oak of San Diego, CA, Deborah (Keith) Tindall of Cedar Rapids, IA; son Robert D. Oak, Jr. of New Palestine, IN; 5 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Phyllis Page. "
