Robert Knight

Robert J. Knight, 72, of Decatur, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital.A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with a memorial visitation from 4-6 P.M. Robert was born August 5, 1945, the son of Robert and Geraldine Bernice (Robinson) Knight. He worked at K’s Merchandise and Stars and Stripes Video. Robert was the owner of the Snack Shacks in Decatur, a fireworks business, an entertainment business, and Knight’s Dish to Go, a satellite and cell business. Robert enjoyed horses, fireworks, and movies. He was a member of St. James and Patrick Parish and the Knights of Columbus.Robert is survived by his nieces and nephews, Paulette Harding, Patricia Harding, Pamela (Jim) Burress, John Harding, Kate (Shane) Maple, Jason (Julie) Harding, and Jerold Harding; and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Geraldine Knight and Joyce Harding Knight. "
