Robert Kilton

Robert Turley Kilton, 92, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018, at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2018, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Monticello Cemetery, Monticello, IL. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Donor’s Choice. Robert was born December 3, 1925, in Decatur, IL, the son of Obert Lewis and Cora Myrtle (Turley) Kilton. He married Mary Frances Rudisill on February 12, 1948 in Deland, IL and she preceded him in death on September 11, 2005. Robert was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He worked in the Purchasing Department for Borg-Warner and the Clinton Power Plant. He is survived by his daughter Bonnie (Scott) Matthews of Decatur; daughter-in-law Judy Kilton of Decatur; grandchildren Tim (Dawn) Knorr, Carrie (Adam) Perry, Chad (Maggie) Matthews, Chelsea (Ryan) Sisson, Sarah (Jim) Heatherton; 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, son Gary, and grandson Bobby.
