Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 20, at the funeral home in Decatur. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or Cancer Care Center.Bob was born June 4, 1949, in Decatur, the son of Robert Lee and Betty Louise (Harris) Kelly, Sr. He married Marla K. Fouste May 23, 1969, in Decatur. Bob worked at A.D.M. for 19 years, and formerly worked at A.E. Staley for 20 years. He was the President of BCTGM Local 103-G International AFL-CIO-CLC, and was a member of Decatur Trades and Labor. From 1983 - 2004, Bob operated the time clock for Cerro Gordo football and was President of Cerro Gordo Youth League. He coached girls softball and boys baseball for several years. Bob was a member of Cerro Gordo American Legion Post #117 and Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church. He was a Cub fan and a Nascar fan. Bob is survived by his wife Marla of Cerro Gordo; children: Robert A. Kelly, Sr. and wife Brandy of Mt. Pulaski; Angie Cross and husband Doug of Cerro Gordo; Jamie White and husband Vincent of Decatur; grandchildren: Robert Kelly, Jr., Desiree Kelly, Shawn White, Kayla Heitz, Dalvin White, Vincent White, Jr., Genna Heitz, and Todd Kelly; mother Betty Kelly of Decatur; brother Steve Kelly and wife Patty of Decatur; sister Teresa Hobbs and husband Rick of Mundeline.He was preceded in death by his father, son Todd Wayne, and brother Don.Bob was a wonderful husband, dad, father-in-law, and grandpa.
