Rita Doty

Rita Dianne Doty, 66, of Mt. Zion, IL, passed away at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Boody, IL. Memorials may be made to Lovington United Methodist Church, Zion Chapel United Methodist Church or Lovington EMT's. Rita was born September 28, 1947, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Harold and Joyce (Hill) Bailey. She married Bob Doty on July 31, 1966 at Zion Chapel United Methodist Church in Boody, IL. Rita was a member of Lovington United Methodist Church. She helped her husband farm for many years. Surviving are her husband Bob Doty of Mt. Zion, IL; sons Troy Doty of Lovington, IL and Trent (Julie) Doty of Boody, IL; daughter Tonya (Kent) Beisiegel of Belleville, IL; grandchildren Kristen Doty, Kyla Doty, Tanner Doty, Taylor Beisiegel, and Tara Beisiegel; sisters Nancy (Don) Harrell of Hillsboro, IL and Christine (Vernon) Walls of Clinton, MS. Rita was preceded in death by her parents. "
