Riki L. Dial, Sr., 63 of Decatur, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Graveside services will be immediately following visitation at Lester Barnett Cemetery, Decatur. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS Association or Wounded Warriors. Riki was born September 9, 1951, in Decatur, the son of Delmar Eugene and Betty June (Lawrence) Dial. He married Brenda J. Mattingly February 21, 1969, in St. Charles, MO. Riki was employed by Laborers Local #159. He was a member of the Laborers Hall and was a past Executive Committee member. Riki was an avid Cub fan and loved to go fishing and mushroom hunting He was also a proud supporter of the Wild Dog Saloon. Riki was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, and loved attending the Vietnam Era Veteran's Recognition Day event at the Decatur Conference Center. His is survived by his wife Brenda of Decatur; Son Riki L. Dial, Jr. (Shawn) of Auburn; daughter Shannon Dial of Mt. Zion; grandchildren Sarah Konya and husband Matt of Springfield, VA, Cassi Scott of Chicago, Amanda Dial of Decatur, Nathan Stewart of Decatur, and Emily Dial of Decatur; brother Michael Dial and wife Joy of Decatur; sister Delrene Berg and husband Gary of Decatur; several beloved nieces and nephews. Riki was preceded in death by his parents, brother David, and nieces Tracy Berg and Crystal Aubert. "
