Rick Tarro, 71, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2018 in his home. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Central Illinois Food Bank and the Humane Society. Rick was born on September 25, 1947 in Wyandotte, MI the son of James Richard and Roseann Amelia (Florian) Tarro. He married Jeannette Kay Wimberly on March 08, 1969 in Benld, IL and she survives. Rick served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1969-1971. He worked for the I.R.S. from 1973-1979. In 1980 he became a C.P.A. and C.V.A. while with Keller, Disbrow and Morrison. He later joined the firm as a partner; Keller, Disbrow, Morrison, Tarro and Lively. He then became a partner with S.G. Sikitch. Rick loved to play golf, and was a fan of the University of Illinois football and basketball teams. He was a member of the C.P.A. Society, Illinois C.P.A. Society, and the Sertoma Club. Rick is survived by his wife Jeannette; brothers; Kent (wife, Susan) Tarro of Gillespie, IL and Dennis (wife, Kathy) Tarro also of Gillespie, IL. Also surviving is his mother, Roseann; nieces and nephews, Eric, Adam, Miranda and Mikayla Tarro, along with several cousins. Rick is preceded in death by his father. "
