Richard Lauber

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, at Gods Abundant Love Fellowship, Long Creek, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Richard was born on December 14, 1948, in Decatur, IL, the son of Wilbur A. and Katheryn M. (Scott) Lauber. He married Jeanene Dyer in June 1970. She preceded him in death.Richard was a former employee of Curry Trucking and retired from A.E. Staley Mfg Co. He was a member of Kaskaskia Valley Bass Club of Sullivan, IL.Richard is survived by his daughter Jill Hachenberg and husband Jeff of LaPlace, IL; grandchildren Brandon Hachenberg, Holley Hachenberg and Tyler Fisher; sister Racine Lyster of Decatur, IL; fiancee` Donna Bright of Sparta, TN; sister-in-law Virginia Hart and Roger of Decatur, IL; brother-in-law Jackie Dyer of Taylorville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.Richard was preceded in death by his parents and wife Jeanene.
