Richard Hughes

Richard "Ricky" Hughes, 62, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at his residence. Cremation rites will be accorded by the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Richard was born on December 3, 1950, the son of Jacob Carl Hughes and Elizabeth Jane (Stringer) Hughes. He drove a truck for the family business, J. Hughes Lumber. He retired from this position in 2012. Richard is survived by two brothers, John C. Hughes of Decatur, IL and Ron Hughes (wife, Tina) of Mt. Zion, IL. Also surviving are four nieces, Kaidy and Julia Rose Hunolt of Decatur, IL; Rachelle and Elizabeth Hughes, of Mt. Zion, IL; one aunt, Becky Ray of Decatur; and several cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. "
