Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, July 25, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Warrensburg Fire Department.Dick was born July 23, 1940, in Macon County, IL, the son of William and Jewell (Shephard) Disbrow. He married Barbara Allen on March 16, 1987 in Houston, TX. She preceded him in death.Dick farmed in the Warrensburg area until 1981 when he moved to Houston, TX.He is survived by his children Darrell Disbrow of Electra, TX, Rich Disbrow of Corpus Christi, TX, Leann Bishop and husband David of Corpus Christi, TX; stepchildren Angie Hoover of Katy, TX, Michael Allen of Austin, TX, Margie Ratterman of Houston, TX; three grandsons, 3 step grandchildren, one step great grandson; mother Jewell Disbrow of Clinton, IL; sister Janet Mannix and husband Mike of Clinton, IL; nephews Joe Mannix and Jeff Mannix and wife Stacey.He was preceded in death by his father, wife Barbara, and one grandson.
