Richard Henry Buckley, 81, of Decatur, IL, died 6:55 A.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Decatur Rehabilitation Health Care Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Church. Richard was born May 31, 1930, in Decatur, IL, the son of Henry Steven and Lelah (Beals) Buckley. He was a member of Peoples Church of God. Richard retired from A.E. Staley Company. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran. He is survived by his sons Michael E. (Karen) Buckley and Timothy I. (Carol) Buckley, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Matthew Buckley of Springfield, IL, Christina (Mehran) Buckley Farahmandpour of Long Grove, IL, Michael (Davani) Buckley of Flower Mound, TX; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Marie (Dick) Best of Retsil, WA, Vera Christianson of Puyallup, WA; brothers Jack L. (Pat) Buckley, Jerry S. Buckley, all of Decatur, IL, and Walter (Barb) Buckley of Mattoon, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Eugene, James "Jim", and Don Buckley, and one grandson Adam. The family would like to thank Decatur Rehabilitation Health Care Center for all their kindness and compassion shown to Richard during his stay. "
