Redith Welton

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Family requests casual attire.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church or donors choice.Mrs. Welton was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Decatur, IL , the daughter of Clarence A. & Leila M. Decrevel Fry.She was formerly employed by Borg Warner for 33 years. She married Ezra H. Buck Welton , July 11, 1953, he preceded her in death July 5, 1987.She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Redith loved her family and they in turn loved her.She enjoyed helping them and enjoyed traveling.Mrs. Welton is survived by her son- Robert L. Cundiff and Carole of Decatur. Two Brothers- Richard W. Fry and Wife Lois of Stonington and Kenneth E. Fry and Wife Pat of Decatur. Four Grandchildren- Brian L. Cundiff and Wife Cindy, Jeffrey A. Cundiff, Cristine E. Cundiff and Megan N. Cundiff all of Decatur, Five Great- grandchildren and Numerous nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers- Dale, Wilbur and Everett Fry.The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Keith Smith and the nurses at D.M.H. for all their care and kindness. She has now gone to be with Buck. "
