Raymond Keith French, 65, of Rantoul, IL, passed away at 3:52 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at his residence.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church Childrens Ministry or St. Pauls Daycare.Raymond was born on October 25, 1944, in Centralia, IL, the son of Sylvan and Evelyn (Lamb) French. He married Judy Taggart on March 18, 1967, in Rantoul, IL.Raymond was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Decatur. He served in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam and was a Chinese Linguist for the Air Force. Raymond worked as an auditor for ADM, retiring after 28 years of service. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, painting, gardening, traveling, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.Raymond is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy of Rantoul, IL; son Brian French and wife Carol of Naperville, IL; son Joshua French and wife Lea of Chicago, IL; brother John French and wife Kim of Brandon, FL; grandchildren Taylor and Malorie French; and his loyal dog Hooper.Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
