Ramona Maxine Mooney, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 14 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Maxine was born May 31, 1932 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Racie M. and Dorothy May (Page) Williams. She married Howard Francis Mooney on February 14, 1953 in Decatur, IL. Maxine worked at Prairie International Trucks in Decatur and for Hobby House. She attended Peoples Church of God. Maxine loved traveling all over the world and especially enjoyed having lunch with the King of Belgium, when she was living there. Most of all, she was a wonderful person who always put her family first. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard of Decatur; sons Christopher H. Mooney and Howard F. (Stacey) Mooney II, both of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Jonathan, Madison, and Howie; brother John D. (Donna) Williams of Anderson, IN; sister Marcia L. Williams of Decatur, IL; and special cousin Matt Page. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would also like to thank Adelle Small, Tracy Claypool, and DMH Hospice for their exceptional care given to Maxine. "
