Ralph Miller

Ralph D. Miller, 77, of Decatur, IL, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 31, 2012, at Moundford Free Methodist Church, Decatur, IL, with the family greeting friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Ralph was born January 25, 1935 in Decatur, IL, the son of Lee Roy and Ada (Johnson) Miller. He married Marsha L. Virden on July 28, 1957 in Decatur, IL. Ralph was a member of Moundford Free Methodist Church. He worked for Norfolk & Southern Railroad and was an avid Cardinal fan. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marsha; daughter Kathryn Cooper; son Jeffrey (Lucinda) Miller, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Paisley, Job, Israel and Miles Cooper; brothers Lee Roy Miller of Blue Mound, IL, Lester (Della) Miller of Decatur, IL; sisters Gladys Berry of Arthur, IL, Helen Berwald of Inverness, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Janet, brothers Charles & Grover, sisters Edna, Mary, Dorothy, and Lela. "
