Polly Holmes, 68, of Decatur, passed away June 15, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to: Decatur and Macon County Humane Society.Polly was born August 6, 1948 in West Virginia, the daughter of Sherrell Maynard, Sr. and Louise (Baisden) Maynard. She married Orville Holmes in 1984 and he preceded her in death in 1995. She later married Dennis Tortorice in 1999. He preceded her in death in 2008. Polly enjoyed working in her yard and loved her two cats: Blondie and Star.She is survived by her son Jimmy Goodbrake; step-daughters, Michelle (Jeff) Miller, and Sheila Holmes; step-son Dominic Tortorice; three sisters, Pearl, Pammy, and Arlene; nieces, Elizabeth and Sonnie and many other nieces and nephews, and good friend Sandy Moma.Polly was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Orville and Dennis, two brothers, one sister and one niece.
