Penny J. Williamson, 72, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026 at her home.
According to her wishes, cremation services will be provided by Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time. Memorials in Penny’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice- a charity that you know Penny would love to support.
Penny was born October 28, 1953 in Decatur, the daughter of Carl and Doris (Ponewash) Maynard. She married John K. Williamson on September 1, 1973. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2013. Penny worked in retail for many years, most recently at Menard’s where she retired in 2018. She enjoyed crafts, spending time with her family and being in nature.
Surviving are her daughter, Nichole Keeton of Decatur; grandson, Kaden Keeton; brother, Robert Maynard and sister, Pam Hawley.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and two sisters: Sandra and Sharon.
