Peggy Willis

Peggy Willis, 80, of Decatur, passed away 10:01 a.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 in her home.Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Decatur Humane Society.Peggy was born May 24, 1929, in Decatur, the daughter of Lee and Maymie (Wilson) Hildebrand. Peggy previously worked as an office administrator at various companies in Decatur and Iowa, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed reading, and loved her dog Babie.Surviving are her children Barb Oliver and husband John of Bethany, IL, Bob Willis and wife Sharlyn of Broken Arrow, OK, Becky Willis of Springfield, OR, Bill Willis and wife Crystal of Monticello, IL; 8 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; sister B.J. Markwitz of Franklin, TN; brother Donald Hildebrand and wife Elsie of New Braunfelds, TX; and several nieces and nephews.Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
