Peggy Pressgrove

Peggy R. Pressgrove, 74, of Decatur, IL. passed away at 12:43 P.M. at Decatur Memorial Hospital on Friday (01-14-2011).Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday (01-18-2011) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday (01-17-2011) from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Peggy was born on July 6, 1936 in Flora, IL., the daughter of Ray Lamb and Arlene (Moore) Lamb. She married Max Pressgrove on June 7, 1960 in Flora, IL.Peggy was affiliated with New Beginnings Church of God and was a member of Mound Road Christian Church. She worked at Akorn (Taylor Pharmaceuticals) as a supervisor. Peggy retired in 2001 after many years of service. She was also a member of God Shelter of Love (Blessingdales).She is survived by her husband Max of Decatur, IL., one sister: Connie Johnson of Flora, IL.; two brothers: Michael Lamb and wife Deborah of Olney, IL., and Larry Lamb and wife Kay of Cisne, IL.Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Brian and Phillip.
