Peggy May

Peggy J. (Brozio) May, 78, of Decatur, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at her home, surrrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Monday, February 4, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Sunday, February 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society. Peggy was born July 24, 1934, in Decatur, the daughter of Walter and Marian (Moreland) Brozio. She married Charles May October 9, 1965, in Decatur. Peggy enjoyed her family, traveling, sewing, cross stitch, and she loved watching old westerns. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles of Decatur; mother, Marian Brozio of Indianapolis, IN; children, Jack May of Springfield; Jeffery May (Kimberly) of Decatur; Lawrence "Larry" May of Indianapolis, IN; Lisa Peters (Stephen) of Warrensburg; brother, Walter "Skip" Brozio and family of Decatur; sister, Mary Ann Gordon (Terry and family) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, and Aly; step grandsons, John, Zackary, and Jeremy. She was preceded in death by her father. Peggy's family would like to give special thanks to St. Mary's Hospital ICU staff and valet service, and DMH Hospice with special thanks to Angie. . "
