Pedro Velazquez Rodriguez, 28, of Decatur, passed away on December 2, 2024.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date with his family in Mexico.
Pedro was born November 30, 1996, in Tlalchapa Guerrero, Mexico, the son of Antonio Velazquez Benitez and Oralia Rodriguez Enciso.
Pedro worked for Complete Landscaping for 3 years, giving him the opportunity to spend time in his community. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and could often be found enjoying a game of Uno or volleyball, and loved making people laugh with his jokes – having him shine as a people person.
Pedro is survived by his daughter, Arisbeth Velazquez; sister Marisol (Casimiro) Velazquez; niece Camila Araujo; and nephew Jeremiah Araujo.
