Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m Tuesday, February 3, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 2, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.Pearl was born on August 27, 1923, in Effingham, IL, daughter of Virgil and Cora (Boyer) Landreth. She married Charles E. Brown in 1939. He preceded her in death. She later married David F. (Roger) Hite on March 3, 1973, in Effingham, IL. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1997.Pearl was a member of Mound Road Christian Church.Surviving are her children Wilma Glatz of Las Vegas, NV, Patricia Mines and husband Willie of Ripley, TN, Beverly Hite and husband Everett of Bethany, IL, and Janice Hays Myers and husband Jerry of Heyworth, IL; grandchildren Ed Poe, Jr., Kathy Ahlin, Terry Polk, Steve Polk, Tina Bonham, Everett Hite, Jr., Shawn Hays, Scott Hays; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Floyd Landreth, Bobby Landreth, and sister Agnes Williams.
