Pauline Jones

Pauline J. Jones, 92, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 8:50 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL. Memorials may be made to: Grace United Methodist Church. Pauline was born May 1, 1923, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Herman Edward and Thelma Irene (Vandventer) Mize. She married E. Lyle Jones on November 16, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2003. Pauline was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and bowling, and was a member of the Kiwanis Club. Surviving are her daughter Patricia Ann Luka and husband Raymond of Blue Mound, IL; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister JoAn Evans and husband Gerald of Parker, AZ. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Judith Bean, and sister Betty Jane Grace. "
