Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to St. Johns Episcopal Church.Pauline was born January 24, 1919, in Hoopeston, IL, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Magdlane (Harasymek) Lazarenko. She married John M. Hanson on April 18, 1941 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death in October 1996. Pauline was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. She previously worked at S.S. Kresge Co and Oaks Products.Surviving are her sons John D. Hanson of San Francisco, CA, Carl W. Hanson of Morton Grove, IL, and James M. Hanson of Springfield, IL. Also surviving are grandsons David and Christopher, granddaughter Jessica; sisters Mrs. Anna White and Mrs. Russell (Anastazia) Stazie Dean, both of Decatur; daughter-in-law Irene Hanson; many nieces, nephews, friends, and special friend Karen Barnett of Williamsville, IL.Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and one brother.
