Pauline (Sager) Boatman, 85, formerly of Decatur, IL, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Alden Estates Nursing Center in Naperville, IL.Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 9:30 A.M. till service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.Memorials may be made to Come Together, c/o Decatur Memorial Foundation, 2300 N. Edward, Decatur, IL 62526.Pauline was born September 10, 1925, in Newport, IN, the daughter of Paul R. and Marie (Gross) Sager. She married Loren F. Boatman on November 22, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2006.Pauline began college at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and later transferred to Millikin University, finishing and receiving her CPA in the 1960's. She was Treasurer at the former Lakeview School District and then later employed by Decatur Schools Dist. #61. Along with her husband Loren, Pauline was very active in both U.S. Power Squadron and Lions Club activities. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her daughter Lynette TeVault and husband Kent of Lisle, IL; granddaughter Sydney Pace and husband Brian of Gettysburg, PA; great-granddaughter Kaitlynne Pace of Gettysburg, PA; great-grandsons Joseph Pace and wife Vanessa of Denver, CO, Brandon Pace and wife Heather of Colorado Springs, CO; great-great-grandson Joshua Pace, of Colorado Springs, CO; brother-in-law Elwood Boatman and wife Rose of Carlinville, IL; sister-in-law Helen Boatman of Chapel Hill, NC, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Loren.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
