Paul Curtis

Paul Everett Curtis, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 6:48 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at Lincoln Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Lake Fork Cemetery, Atwood, IL. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Paul was born November 28, 1929, in Decatur, the son of Thomas L. And Florence (Fuqua) Curtis. He married Mary Lois Mossbarger and she preceded him in death in 1967. He then married Rosalie Hunt on December 3, 1968. Paul was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He owned Curtis Appliance for 25 years, retiring in 1992. Paul enjoyed camping, and working jigsaw puzzles and other games. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Rosalie of Decatur; children Sandy Beckler, Ron Curtis, both of Decatur, Yvonne Justus of Martinez, GA, Rebecca Hollingsead, Rodney Hunt, William Hunt, all of Decatur, Royce Alan Hunt and Rose Mary Parkerson, both of Clarksville, TN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister Chris Norton of Decatur. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Mary, daughter Cheryl Lynn Mayberry, son Anthony Paul Curtis, three brothers and two sisters. "
