Patrick G. Clark, 79, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials in Patrick’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice.
Patrick was born March 17, 1945 in St. Charles, MO, the son of Robert and Mary Alice (Graham) Clark). He was raised in Monmouth, IL where he excelled in football and baseball. He married Brenda Clark on January 17, 1970 in Los Angeles, CA. Patrick worked in construction and as a car salesman for most of his career. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed being social and interacting with others. Patrick also enjoyed buying and selling boats, motorhomes, and horses.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Brenda; sons: Rob (Bobbi) Clark of Forsyth and Matthew “Matt” Clark (girlfriend, Paula Herzing) of Decatur; grandchildren: MacKenzie, Keegan, and Duncan; and brothers: Mike (Evelyn) Clark of Lakewood, CA and Bill Clark of Oquawka, IL.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon.
