Patricia Strocher

Patricia J. Strocher, 72, of Decatur, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2018, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday, May 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.Patricia was born February 28, 1946, in Macon County, the daughter of Ernest Wallace and Clara (Henwood) Woodrum. She married David Strocher in Decatur on October 6, 1963. Patricia worked for 15 years as a line inspector leader for Taylor Pharmacal, which was later known as Akorn Mfg. She also sold Avon for 40 years, and was a lunch room/playground supervisor for Niantic-Harristown Grade School. Patricia was a member of Camp Wilson Foursquare Church, Harristown.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David of Decatur; children, Dave, Tim (Heather), and Tammy; grandchildren, Derek, Dustin (Alesha), Dale (Jessica), and Nicole (James); 8 great grandchildren including Winter; brothers, Ernest Dale Woodrum and Ronald Dean (Bonna) Woodrum; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Woodrum.
