Patricia E. March Kuhns, 89, of Decatur, IL, died peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning March 18, 2016, in her residence.Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL, followed by a Memorial service at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at Central Christian Church, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to: Central Christian Church.Patricia was born March 1, 1927, in Decatur, IL, daughter of Raymond and Blanche (Dodd) March. She was married to George F. Kuhns by the Rev. Carrel W. Flewelling at Central Christian Church on June 11, 1950.Patricia was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church and a former member of Decatur Kiwaniannes. She had worked for Standard Oil Company 1944-1947, and the Cruse Dental Lab 1947-1951. Most recently, she worked 1968-1986 as executive secretary to William L. Rotz and W. Frank Elston, former directors of Alumni and Parent Relations at Millikin University. Surviving are her husband of 65 years: George F. Kuhns, of Decatur, IL; son: George Alan Kuhns and wife Catherine of Coral Springs, FL; daughter: Linda Kuhns of Decatur, IL; one grandson: George Adam Kuhns, of Coral Springs, FL: granddaughter: Meaghan Kuhns, of Orlando, FL, one sister: Jacqueline (Corby) Lyon, of Carmel, IN, and one brother: Larry (Joan) March, of Phoenix, AZShe was preceded in death by her parents: Ray W. and Blanche (Dodd) March, 3 brothers; Don E. (Eleanor) March, Dean D (Betty) March, and Richard E. March; and 2 sisters: Juanita (John) Lawrence, and Barbara (Richard) Edwards. "
