Patricia Ann Garner, 73, resident of Carthage, TN, passed away Saturday April 8, 2017, at The Pavilion in South Carthage, TN Funeral services will be10:00 am Saturday, April 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, 2827 North Oakland Avenue in Decatur, Illinois. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, April 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Box 74 – Carthage, TN 37030 or at www.smithcountytnhumane.com Pat was born August 19, 1943, in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Firman Lee and Ramona Armicia (McFann) Baker. On June 3, 1977 in Decatur, Illinois she was united in marriage to James Michael Garner. He preceded her in death July 11, 2005. Mrs. Garner was a member of the Elks BPOE # 401, Decatur Ski Club, co-founder of the Country Cloggers, formerly the Decatur Promenadors, and a member of the Country Squares of Warrensburg. A college graduate, Mrs. Garner was a retired dance instructor. She relocated to the Carthage, TN from her home in Arcadia, FL in June of 2016. Surviving are her sons, Dan Garner and wife Jill of the Carthage, Tennessee, John Garner and wife Tracey of Whitewater, Colorado; grandchildren, Brent Garner and wife Jodi, Holly Garner, Brandon Garner; brother, James Baker and wife Peggy of Lubbock, Texas; Niece Barbara George Lubbock, TX, Nephew Ed Baker El Norte, CO, and Niece Maggie Baker and her husband Paul of Denver, CO.; her beloved cat, Pepper.
