Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, at Maranatha Assembly of God, Decatur, with Pastor Norman Etnier officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 29, at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements.Patricia was born on April 22, 1932, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Harold and Rose (Stephens) Lindsley. She married Willis Bill Edward Fisher on December 30, 1951 at First Christian Church in Decatur, IL.Patricia was the mother to eight children and a proud stay-at-home mom. She also ran a in-home daycare center for four years. For many years she was a member of the Junior Womens Club, taught Sunday School, leader of womens ministries, and a ministers wife for 34 years.Patricia, along with her husband, was a prayer team coordinator and member of Christian Fellowship Church. Included in that ministry, Patricia sent encouraging notes to local pastors and city officials.Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Bill of Decatur, IL; children Michael Edward Fisher of Rodgers, AR, Cathy Diane (Dale) Ahlrich of Decatur, IL, Steven Eugene (Rose) Fisher of Vandalia, IL, Angela Rose (Mike) Welsh of Moline, IL, Melinda Marie (Paul) Thorngren of Silvis, IL, Katrina Ann (Erick) Riley of Pana, IL, and Kevin Scott (Carolyn) Fisher of Birmingham, AL. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren; and sister Betty Shafer of Mt. Vernon, OH.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Pamela Sue.Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Scott Ide Scholarship Fund. "
